Salviacim®, a semi-rigid surfacing, is an open-graded asphalt mix percolated with a cement slurry.

Able to withstand substantial static loads such as stacked containers and with low sensitivity to chemical attack, Salviacim® is used primarily on industrial surfacings. It withstands severe traffic loadings without risk of rutting. Salviacim® is also applied as a wearing course for pavements under heavy vehicle traffic: dedicated bus corridors and roads for track-laying vehicles. The addition of pigment to the cement slurry colours the mix, lending Salviacim® decorative and marking potential.
